Services + Insights

CHAI offers services to equip healthcare organizations with the knowledge, intelligence, and connections to move from AI principles to responsible practice — all of which is grounded in CHAI frameworks, the collective expertise of our community, and a vetted ecosystem of partners who implement it.

Educate

Education as a Service

CHAI works directly with organizations to better equip their colleagues on the foundational components of responsible AI. Our programs translate the CHAI framework into practical skills your teams can apply on day one — delivered by the people who helped write it.

  • AI Governance

Stand up or strengthen a responsible AI governance program through a four-session webinar series or a four-hour executive workshop, virtual or on-site. Modules cover AI intake and transparency, risk and mitigations, governance controls (AI policy, committee design, roles, and resourcing), and organizational processes (lifecycle, data, and third-party management), applied to your organization's own use cases.

  • Risk Assessment

Operationalize the CHAI Risk Categorization Tool: classify solutions across patient-safety and technology modifiers, match oversight to risk level, and map mitigations to governance controls.

  • Model Evaluation

Plan and interpret local validation: performance, fairness, and robustness testing, monitoring for drift, and evidence review for both predictive and generative AI.

  • AI Intake and Procurement

Build a repeatable front door for AI: structured intake, evidence requirements, vendor due diligence, and contracting considerations aligned with CHAI assurance standards.

  • Custom Curriculum

Role-based programs tailored to your organization — from frontline clinicians and informaticists to procurement, compliance, and data science teams.

  • Responsible AI Foundations for Leaders

Executive and board-level briefings on the AI lifecycle, accountability structures, regulatory expectations, and the questions leaders should be asking.

Partner connection: Education is consultative. When a program surfaces implementation work such as platform configuration or integration, CHAI connects you with Advisory & Services partners aligned to the framework.

Insights

Insights

Our Insights offering is designed for leaders who want to stay at the forefront of healthcare innovation through ongoing access to CHAI data, insights, and connections. Available to CHAI members and, for a fee, to non-member organizations.

  • Data

Aggregated, de-identified views from the CHAI Registry, working group insight reports, and shared feedback.

  • Market Intelligence

Briefings on the health AI landscape (e.g., vendor movements, regulatory and policy developments, and emerging use cases — distilled for executive decision-making).

  • Community Insights

Benchmarks and lessons learned from peer health systems, payers, and developers: how others are governing, evaluating, and scaling AI — and where they are getting stuck.

Partner connection: The Data stream draws on partner self-attestations against CHAI's 40 governance controls and on activity across the Partner Ecosystem.

CHAI Partner

Partner Ecosystem

Collaborate with trusted partners delivering excellence in AI governance, testing, data management, and advisory services—all aligned with the CHAI framework.

Partners self-attest to adherence of CHAI's recommended governance controls which are then reviewed with CHAI. It is recommended for implementers to verify these controls ahead of deployment.

    How an engagement works

    1

    Share your priorities

Submit a short interest form. A member of the CHAI team will follow up within a few business days to understand your goals, audience, and timeline.

    2

    Scope the service

Together we select the right service offerings and format (e.g., a single workshop, a multi-session webinar series, ongoing insights reports, etc.), and bring in a CHAI Partner when the scope calls for implementation support.

    3

    Delivery and feedback

CHAI experts deliver the service, provide supporting resources, and track feedback for continued refinement.

    Let's discuss your priorities.

Whether you need a single workshop, ongoing intelligence, or an implementation partner, start with a short note and we will route it to the right member of the CHAI team.
